Customer Engagement

Engaging with customers does not mean bombarding the emails or calling every time. Give some space to the customer so that he may think about your qualities. It’s kind of a dosage of medicine which is required but with a proper schedule and no gaps.

There is a plan required because you are going to capture a person physiologically and convenience him to adopt your product or service and also want his/her loyalty.

There are 3 important aspects for email marketing-

1- A static format which will become your trademark for that particular mailer.

2- Frequency of the email.

3- Subject line of the email.

Now it's come to what are the emails required to engage your customer. This is start with a question that why anyone like your product or services-

  • Is there any specific reason?

  • Is it different in the market?

  • How much do you know about the market and what will you cater to your customers?

  • How are we helping?

  • What are the best practices of the market?

  • Make them understand that you are always there to help you?

All the bigger brands market themselves as the market leader and know everything about the market but we did not see the market with the customer's eyes. We need to understand the difficulties of the customers in understanding the terminology and process.

The major emails which any company irrespective of there operating domain may send are below-

1- Product Updates

2- News updates (About the market regulations and any rate hike or low)

3- Sanity of the process.

4- Festive and small updates.

We can divide the whole journey of customer with respect to engagement in two mode-

1- Acquisition mode

2- Journey mode
